Why won’t my VGA cable work with SWAPMYRIGS?SWAPMYRIGS was engineered to work with 15 conductor VGA cables, the standard specifications in IBM's VGA quality cables. Because few, if any, computer monitor cables support 15 conductors, we cannot guarantee your cable will offer reliability and efficiency at the highest level.

How do I know what length VGA to buy for my SWAPMYRIGS installation? It depends on where you want to install it: For passenger cars, trucks and SUVs, a 15' VGA cable works well. For all other installations, such as a home office, RVs, boats, mobile homes, etc., measure and estimate the cable length you think you need and order about 10' more. For example, if you want your transceiver in the attic, near the antenna, and your controls in the shack 40' away, you would order a 50' cable.

Why would anyone need a 150’ VGA cable?Long VGA cables like the 150’ work great for field days and remote towers and emergency services.

Do you provide cable to connect my control head to SWAPMYRIGS if the connector jack uses a special registered modular connection?Yes! For radios with unique connecting jacks, such as YAESU’s FTM-400 and FTM-100, and KENWOOD’s TM-V71, a 5’ connecting cable is provided at no additional cost.
