This cable converts the Kenwood 8-pin microphone jack to a modular RJ45 connector, which then plugs into the SWAPMYRIGS unit. A standard Kenwood MJ-88 adapter must be used at the control end unless you substitute a Kenwood microphone with an RJ45 plug (such as the TM-D710’s mic).
