SWAPMYRIGS come to you as a set of two SMR boxes, configured for your particular radio. We include the cables to connect each SWAPMYRIGS unit to your transceiver's microphone, control, and audio jacks.  This includes our 15' shielded VGA cable. The 15' is the perfect length for most car and SUV installations.  Longer cables are sold separately, based on the length required to separate your controls from your radio. Each SWAPMYRIGS box measures 2.6" x 2.6" x 0.9".

Bill Jordan, AE4S, 1978

They say, "Necessity is the mother of invention." SwapMyRigs was created by AE4S, a lifelong amateur radio enthusiast. Decades ago, he saw the need for a simpler, more efficient way to install radios. Also, manufacturers' kits were incompatible with other brands, and sometimes, even within their own product lines.

Researched, engineered, and built in his office/shack, SwapMyRigs is now the only patented, universal, single-cable separation kit. Invented, designed, and 100% MADE IN THE USA.

AE4S graduated from Cornell University and retired from the Navy as a Captain. He has a Ph.D. in business tax, is a CPA, and is an emeritus professor at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
